I’ve felt it especially important over the last year to call attention to some important issues, and that’s hard to do when I know I have a lot of faults myself. When I forget about the tree branch in my own eye, it becomes easy for me to harden my heart against others and not recognize that their flesh is my flesh too.
So here’s a new music video to a song I wrote sometime back and recorded with my good friends Andrew and Eric Grzyb. This particular song features some of my favorite lyrics I’ve written to date. May we learn to let love and forgiveness of Jesus overrule our hard hearts as we pursue not only the messages that need to be declared to others, but also the ones that need to be declared to us.
