Jesus healed a fever once. I point this out because we usually think Jesus only cares about doing crazy miracles, but that’s not the case. You are not only seen in your most intense moments—you are seen always. God doesn’t just care about the major parts of your life, he cares about the small parts too. The Bible says he’s meticulous about you. He keeps your tears in a bottle. He counts the hairs on your head. You may feel small and insignificant, but the God of the universe sees you. He is a good father who gives good gifts to his children and makes it rain on good and bad people alike. He’s interested in your redemption and has stalled the return of Jesus to ensure that more might receive his love and be saved.

You are seen and loved, even when it’s just a fever.
