I figure if Coldplay can write all the obscure lyrics they write, we can do it too, right? Except while these lyrics sound obscure, they do have meaning to me. Most of the lyrics are based around moments I’ve had in imaginative prayer, which I spell out a bit in my book, The Rush and the Rest. I also bring in a little bit from the book of Job, about the sons of God shouting for joy and what have you.
